We’ll get straight to the point. No we are not a hotel. We are a log cabin village in the middle of a wonderful natural estate in Salzburg’s Lungau in the heart of Austria. It takes a lot of adventure to go on holiday here. Because with us one principle applies: The adventure is YOU. It’s all done. Whether in spring, summer, autumn or winter. No matter what the weather. Here at 1,300 meters, the alpine mountain air refreshes your breathing. The panoramic views down into the valley and the surrounding mountains your serenity. Nature spreads its arms for you. Ground yourself and give you new energy and strength. Here, very close to the unadulterated nature with its wonderful places, plants and animals, you feel the real adventures in you.
The log cabin village Schlögelberger is there for EVERYONE. Whether in the circle of family, with friends or as a couple – the “common” is immovably at the top of the list here. “Mitanond counts”!
The Schlögelberger is an institution in the Lungau. Guests have been catered for here for decades. The ski slope of the Aineck-Katschberg leads directly past the huts and the mountain inn. You meet locals and guests from Austria and all over the world. Winter and summer, the Schlögelberger is a meeting place for families, couples and nature lovers!
Following the laws of nature, new things sprout and thrive in the log cabin village. And when the tried and tested works, freedom is created. For example, for a completely newly “planted” mountain inn. The resulting views of the Mur Valley are – be careful – breathtaking. Just like the stars in the sky on a clear night. The huts were again “trimmed” a bit in the interior areas. The mountain butcher’s shop, the stables and the wildlife park will be preserved in the hut village in St. Margarethen. Our best “feather dress” of unadulterated nature around the mountain inn inspires widely with its untouchedness.
